Most of direction happens between meetings.
Direction tends to meet monthly. A directee spends one hour with you and roughly seven hundred without you, and the seven hundred are where the life of prayer is lived. The platform's work is those hours, quietly. The app your directee carries has daily Scripture and Vespers, prayer, meditation with a timer, and a journal — a rhythm they keep on their own, at their own pace.
So when you meet again, the month between is not a blank. There is a kept journal, a rhythm held or dropped, something concrete to sit with together.

Scope
When something surfaces beyond direction.
Direction is not therapy, and it is not coaching. Sometimes what surfaces in direction — grief that has stopped moving, anxiety that has taken over the days, an addiction — needs a licensed clinician. On this platform you make that referral without sending your directee out into the phone book: a licensed clinician is available in-platform, the referral happens with the directee's consent, and the direction relationship continues alongside the clinical one. Your directee gains a second helper and keeps the first.
The people on the other end of that referral are vetted: licensed clinicians have their license numbers verified at onboarding, and every non-licensed provider's application and credentials are reviewed before they accompany anyone.
Presence+ is built on the Catholic Christian Meta-Model of the Person at Divine Mercy University — the same anthropology that forms the clinicians, coaches, and mentors your directee may also meet here. Direction has its own place in that picture, and the platform is built to respect it.

How your ministry reaches parishes, campuses, and dioceses.
Cross-Connect lets the head of any organization on the platform — a pastor, a chaplain, an administrator — welcome spiritual directors, therapists, and coaches from any practice on the platform into their community's app, a whole practice at a time or one provider at a time.
For you, that means being on the platform puts your ministry in front of communities that already share your view of the person. A pastor can welcome your whole practice to his parishioners, or welcome you individually — and directees find you inside an app their parish already trusts.

Spiritual direction
The ordinary monthly rhythm: scheduling, private notes, secure messages, and a directee whose daily prayer the app supports in the weeks between meetings.
Retreat ministry
Group sessions run in the app, and the daily prayer features give retreatants something to carry home when the retreat ends.
Discernment accompaniment
Discernment runs in seasons. Journaling and regular meetings hold the question steady over months, and your notes keep the thread.

What directors ask us
Who can read my notes?
You. Session notes — written by hand in the app or drafted with AI assistance on your own templates — are stored securely and visible only to you. Storage, messaging, and notes are all HIPAA compliant, and every account sits behind secure two-factor authentication.
Do my directees need to be comfortable with technology?
The app asks little of them: open it, read, pray, journal, book a meeting. Anyone who texts can manage it. And direction itself can still happen across a table — the app supports the meeting, it doesn't replace it.
Can I take offerings — or charge nothing at all?
Either. If your ministry takes offerings or fees, they run through your linked Stripe account in the app. If you charge nothing, use the platform without billing at all. Nothing about the platform assumes direction is a business.
What if a directee needs therapy?
You refer them to a licensed clinician inside the platform, with their consent, and you keep directing. The clinical work and the direction run side by side; the referral doesn't end the accompaniment.
What does it cost for founding directors?
The first year is free. After that, plans are comparable to the coach plans on the platform — talk to the team about where your ministry fits before the founding year is up.
Can I direct people outside my parish?
Yes. Directees can work with you from anywhere in the country, and Cross-Connect lets a pastor or organization leader welcome you into their community's app — so your ministry can reach parishes, campuses, and dioceses beyond your own.
